Sahiwal (UPA News) Commissioner Sahiwal Division, Dr. Asif Tufail, visited Sahiwal Teaching Hospital. During the visit, he inquired in detail about the medical facilities from patients under treatment in the emergency ward and their attendants. Assistant Commissioner Sahiwal, Maham Waheed, accompanied him.
Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail stated that providing quality healthcare facilities to the public is the government’s top priority and that all available resources are being utilized to ensure the best medical services. He directed the hospital administration to ensure the provision of free medicines to all incoming patients. He further stated that no negligence in the provision of medical treatment would be tolerated. He also instructed the administration to further improve cleanliness in the hospital.
Later, Commissioner Dr. Asif Tufail visited the Nigehban Ramzan Bazaar, where he checked the prices and quality of essential commodities at various stalls. He said that under the directions of the Government of Punjab, essential items are being sold at lower prices than the open market in the Ramzan Bazaar. He directed that price lists must be displayed prominently so that shoppers do not face any inconvenience.
