Chatbot GPT, based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, has set records of popularity worldwide.
Surprisingly, this AI chat tool is being used more than popular social media networks like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X (Twitter) in Pakistan.
Millions of people use ChatGPT every day since its introduction in November 2022.
According to a statement issued by OpenAI on August 5, 2025, the number of users using ChatGPT every week has reached close to 700 million.
In March 2025, the number of ChatGPT users had reached 500 million; that is, 20 million more users were added in 4 months.
The list of most popular sites in Pakistan has been ranked in the list of SimilarWeb, a service that ranks internet services and websites.
According to the list, ChatGPT is the third most popular website for Pakistani internet users.
This indicates that Internet users in Pakistan are also using the AI chatbot for various purposes or are curious about it.
It should be noted that people using ChatGPT can easily get the desired details, write articles, and do a lot more.
In comparison, Facebook is in fourth place, Instagram is in sixth place, X is in seventh place, and TikTok is in 10th place.
According to data from Similarweb, OpenAI’s website is ranked 5th globally.
