Rawalpindi: In Zhob, security forces killed 33 terrorists with Indian support who were trying to enter Pakistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced Friday.

“The incident happened last night when the forces detected the movement of a large group of khwarij, belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al-Khwaraj — outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan,” the military’s media wing said in a statement.

The ISPR also stated that the security forces discovered the terrorists in the approximate vicinity of Sambaza, Zhob District, Balochistan, as they were attempting to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

Their effort to enter was successfully halted by the army, and “33 Indian sponsored khwarij were sent to hell” as a result of their accurate, audacious, and skillful engagement.

According to the statement, a sizable cache of explosives, guns, and ammunition was also located, and a sanitization operation was underway to get rid of any further khwarij that might have been discovered nearby.

“The security forces of Pakistan remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers and to eradicate the menace of Indian sponsored terrorism from the country.”

According to the army, India has stepped up its proxy war against Pakistan following its humiliation in the May battle, promising that its allies will suffer the same fate as New Delhi: a humiliating defeat.

In response, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for stopping a khawarij terrorist infiltration attempt.

According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office, the prime minister commended the security services for the successful operation and described it as a tremendous victory in the country’s continuous war against terrorism.

“Our brave soldiers risked their lives to foil this infiltration attempt and crushed the nefarious designs of the terrorists,” added the prime minister.

In the struggle against extremism, PM Shehbaz reiterated the country’s solidarity and steadfast support for its military, saying, “The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with our security forces in this fight.”

He also reaffirmed his government’s unwavering resolve to eradicate terrorism in all of its manifestations from the nation. The prime minister proclaimed, “We are determined to eliminate every trace of terrorism from our soil.”

Operation Bannu

According to the state-run television, the operation was conducted in order to eradicate the threat of terrorism and maintain peace and order in the region, based on classified information and intelligence reports.

Police detained a number of people during the operation, and the Pakistan Army and police surrounded the area. During the raid, the homes of two local khwarij facilitators were also destroyed.

The security forces’ operation was deemed crucial for local public safety by the locals. In this respect, they pledged their unwavering support.

The Pakistani police and army are dedicated to eradicating terrorism and bringing about enduring peace in the region.
