Washington: The United States has designated the BLA and the Majeed Brigade as terrorist groups.
According to the US State Department, the outlawed BLA and the outlawed Majeed Brigade have been declared an international terrorist organization. The outlawed Majeed Brigade has also been declared a global terrorist organisation. The BLA has already been declared a global terrorist organisation.
The statement said the Trump administration remains committed to combating terrorism. The BLA had claimed responsibility for the attack on Karachi airport and the Gwadar port complex.
The BLA also claimed responsibility for the Jaffar Express train attack in which 31 people were martyred and 300 people were taken hostage.
