Double Murder Incident in PS Okanwala Bangla – DPO Sahiwal Takes Notice
A double murder incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Police Station Okanwala Bangla, Sahiwal. In the incident, 40-year-old Nasir, son of Sardar (by caste Gujjar), and 50-year-old Nasreen Akhtar, widow of Nazir Ahmed, lost their lives.
Police visited the crime scene and collected evidence. According to the initial investigation, Nasir, who worked at the farm of Nasreen Akhtar, allegedly first shot and killed her and later shot himself. A .30 bore pistol was used in the incident, which has been taken into police custody.
SHO Police Station Okanwala Bangla, Inspector Imtiaz Hussain, and SDPO Chichawatni Circle, Saleem Khan, were present at the scene. On the instructions of DPO Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu, SP Investigation Shafqat Rasheed also reached the spot promptly and is supervising the investigation.
DPO Sahiwal Muhammad Usman Tipu has taken notice of the incident and ordered a transparent investigation from all angles. Police are continuing the investigation while considering all possible aspects.
