Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s sisters, who came to meet him in Adiala Jail, were stopped by the police on Chakri Road.
Police stopped PTI’s sisters Alima Khan, Uzma Khan, Naureen Niazi and PTI’s cousin Qasim Khan on Chakri Road.
The leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were also detained.
Meanwhile, CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani reached Adiala Jail where he reviewed the security arrangements.
Tight security arrangements have been made in and around Adiala Jail in view of PTI’s possible protest and heavy police force has also been deployed.
Police nakas have been set up in Gorakhpur and Dahgal, special squads of the Right Management Force have also been deployed.
The administration has imposed Section 144 in Rawalpindi Islamabad.
