It has been six years since India unilaterally changed the legal status of occupied Kashmir. Today, Kashmiris living on both sides of the border and around the world will celebrate the Day of Exploitation.
In a statement issued on the occasion of the Exploitation Day, the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army said that the forces of Pakistan support the struggle for the right to self-determination of Kashmiris.
The Armed Forces, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Chief of Naval Staff, Chief of Air Staff also reiterated solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir.
According to the ISPR, the struggle of Kashmiris is in accordance with international laws and Security Council resolutions.
Attempts to change the population ratio of occupied Kashmir are also a violation of international norms, India’s repressive measures, provocative statements are increasing instability in the region, Indian aggressive actions are prolonging the humanitarian tragedy in the region.
According to the ISPR, peace in South Asia is not possible without a just and peaceful resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people and relevant UN resolutions.
The Armed Forces pay homage to the martyrs of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, reiterating the resolve of the Armed Forces to stand shoulder to shoulder in the legitimate struggle for the right and freedom of Kashmiris.
