Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Office rejected the statement of the Indian Foreign Ministry
The Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman said that the Indian Foreign Ministry’s statement is another proof of the Indian government’s habit of distorting facts.
Pakistan is strongly opposed to the use or threat of use of force, and India resorts to war hysteria and the blame game at every opportunity.
The spokesperson further said that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state, there is a complete civilian system of command and control, and Pakistan has always shown restraint and discipline.
Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts are recognized around the world, the Indian Foreign Ministry’s baseless accusations are irresponsible and devoid of evidence, and India’s move to involve third countries unnecessarily is a sign of diplomatic weakness.
The Foreign Office said that Pakistan will continue to play its role as a responsible state, and any aggression by India will be responded to promptly and fully; the responsibility for the escalation will lie entirely with the Indian leadership.
