Gallup Pakistan has released a new survey based on the opinions of traders
The survey showed an increase in the business community’s confidence in the government’s economic policies and praised the performance.
46% rated the performance of the current government as better than the PTI government; however, 34% expressed distrust in the performance.
According to the survey, the confidence of traders in the country’s business situation also increased; 61 percent of traders reported good business conditions, while 39 percent complained of difficulties in business.
The survey also showed 61% of traders optimistic about the future improvement of business, but 39% expressed disappointment, while the rate of traders expressing dissatisfaction with the direction of the country also decreased by 11%. 51% said the country’s direction was wrong, while 49% said it was right.
