BAHAWALPUR (UPA) : Speaking to the teachers, staff, and students gathered at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur’s Abbasia Campus on the occasion of Kashmir Day, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran stated that Pakistan is protesting today against the oppressive and unconstitutional Indian law of August 5, 2019. Both the bilateral agreements between India and Pakistan and the United Nations resolutions on the right to self-determination are violated by the repeal of Article 370. Under duress, Kashmiris have rejected this action. Today is a day to show compassion and support for the people of Kashmir.
The students’ excitement and the particular festivities that Islamia University of Bahawalpur has planned in this respect are both welcome. He claimed that no one gives his aorta to the enemy and that Kashmir is Pakistan’s aorta. India will never be able to accomplish this by moving the majority to Kashmir and repealing the articles that it did so on August 5, 2019. Although there has been a lot of turmoil in Kashmir as a result of the Indian government’s attempts to forcefully relocate non-locals there and reduce the local population to a minority, the spirit of freedom and independence of the Kashmiris has persisted despite all of these horrors.
In reality, the Modi administration wants to reduce the number of Kashmiris to a minority and grant Indian nationals the ability to vote and purchase real estate in the region, thus forcing Indian citizens on Kashmiris. Pakistan’s army, administration, and citizens all support the Kashmiris and applaud their spirit of liberty and self-determination. Kashmiris will undoubtedly be emancipated from Indian pressure one day, insha’Allah.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, Dean Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences, Prof. Dr. Jawad Iqbal, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences and Commerce, Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Chairman of the Department of Social Work, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Asadullah Madani, Sheikh Tariq Mahmood, Treasurer, Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Director Public Relations, Dr. Adnan Bukhari, Additional Director of Students Affairs, Dr. Ramadan Tahir, Advisor Kashmir and Ideology of Pakistan Society, students and employees were present.
