Sahiwal (UPA): A Road Safety Seminar was organized at Patrolling Police Post Kotla Adeeb Shaheed to raise awareness among citizens about traffic laws. The seminar was held under the directions of SP Patrolling Sahiwal Region Raja Fakhar Bashir and supervised by DSP Patrolling Azhar Abbas Gill.
In-charge Post Syed Hasnain Abbas and In-charge License Branch Rana Ali Imran were also present on the occasion. A large number of local residents, drivers, and road users participated in the seminar. Participants were provided detailed awareness about following traffic rules, preventing accidents, and safe travel principles. Addressing the seminar, DSP Patrolling Azhar Abbas Gill emphasized that motorcyclists must wear helmets to protect their own lives and those of others, while drivers should ensure the use of seat belts. He also advised adopting single-line driving, avoiding triple riding, and refraining from overloading.
He said violations of traffic laws are a major cause of accidents, therefore citizens must act responsibly and follow the rules to protect precious human lives. He further stated that, according to the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, and Additional IG Patrolling Faisal Ali Raja, services are being provided to the public with attention, protection, care, and courtesy. The Patrolling Police are taking all possible measures to ensure the safety of life and property and secure travel on highways.
