Sahiwal (UPA News) — Regional Police Officer (RPO) Sahiwal Muhammad Ayaz Saleem has been holding a daily open court (Khuli Kachehri) at the RPO Office Sahiwal. The purpose of the open court is to listen to citizens’ complaints directly and provide immediate and effective relief while ensuring timely justice.
During the session, citizens from across Sahiwal Region presented their complaints and applications, which were heard individually by the RPO. On the spot, he issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers to resolve the issues on a priority basis.
RPO Muhammad Ayaz Saleem stated that the primary responsibility of the police is to protect the lives and property of citizens and address their problems promptly. He directed officers to treat citizens with courtesy, professionalism, and respect, and to take effective action on every complaint without delay.
He further said that the open court initiative will continue to ensure prompt justice and strengthen trust between the police and the public. He also made it clear that any negligence in addressing public complaints will not be tolerated, and proper follow-up will be conducted to ensure every case is resolved on merit.
